Andre Asai is a game developer and event organizer who has been in the gaming industry since 2011.

He is currently studio director at Maximum Entertainment, where he manages the company's remote development and porting teams. He has worked on games such as Diesel Legacy: The Brazen Age, God of Rock, Season 1 of Them's Fightin Herds, Until Then and Maximum Football.

Previously he worked as a product owner at Kokku, managing outsourcing work for AAA projects, usually Ubisoft and Tencent projects. He has also previously worked on serious games, developing, producing, and managing teams of developers for companies like i9ação, Aennova, eguru, and Affero Lab. As an independent game developer, he worked on games that were showcased in A Maze. / Berlin, Print Screen Festival, BIG Festival, FILE, and SBGames

As an event organizer, he organized events like Xbox/Teams Game Jam, independent game festivals like Festival Jogatório, Firmeza Fest and Glitch Mundo, and was one of the creators of Firma Gamedev, a group of Brazilian gamedev veterans that organized several independent events in São Paulo, SPIN, a monthly meetup of game developers, and SPjam, a local game jam. In 2019 he was one of the 20 participants of GAIA - Game Arts International Assembly, the first international think tank for game event curators and producers.
